Mobile Applications Developer

Xcelerate Media, Inc., headquartered in Dublin, Ohio, is a custom e-Learning/web-based training company looking for dynamic individuals with high energy and drive, who are self-motivated and results-oriented to join our team as Mobile Applications Developer. 

The Applications Developer provides assistance with the development of iOS and Android applications. This position will require working within multiple project teams, and this Developer is involved in all areas of design including, but not limited to: applications creation, editing and enhancement, synchronization and processing.  The ideal candidate will possess 2 years of experience creating and publishing to mobile applications. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Participation in design and development of mobile applications
  • Working with customers, team members, Project Management and other internal departments to ensure projects are completed based on scope and project plan
  • Ensuring projects meet and/or exceeds quality standards
  • Attending internal and external kick-off client meetings

Qualifications Include:

  • 2+ years of experience creating/publishing mobile applications
  • College degree or other Technical/Design certification in a relative subject
  • Proven working knowledge of the following:
    • Objective-C (Required)
    • Java (Optional)
    • Actionscript 3.0 (Optional)
  • Excellent creativity and design skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated, professional, energetic and success-oriented personality
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work with multiple project teams
